Questions to get the conversation moving

• What evidence should be required before a strain page presents a lineage as established rather than disputed?
• How should cultivar names, breeder records, genetic markers, lab chemistry, and garden observations be kept distinct?
• When two producers use the same name for different material, what should an educational archive preserve?
• What would make future genetics research genuinely useful to growers and patients reading a strain profile?

Bring the paper, breeder records, or other primary sources into the discussion when possible. Personal observations can be valuable, but they should stay labeled as observations and should not be presented as universal outcomes.
